As a Lenten service project, the Holy Angels Parish Youth group (HAPY) held a drive for the Pregnancy Outreach Center of the Rolling Plains. The Pregnancy Outreach Center, which is located in Childress, provides free services to the general public, including parenting classes, abstinence education, adoption information, and pregnancy testing, as well as other information. The center also provides relief services to families in crisis situations. HAPY collected many items for the Center, including clothing, diapers, baby bottles, furniture, and cash.
